   The Rural Path is a community improvement organization run by Mr. Gabriel Okiror based in Soroti, UGANDA, East Africa.  We are a group of young adults, both single
   and with young families, who dedicate our time away from our professional careers to the
   improvement of the rural communities in our surrounding area.

The Rural Path was founded in 2007 by a group of professionals from various fields, who in the course of duty had     interfaced with children and felt that they deserved much more than they were getting. These professionals set out to     address the loopholes in the system that had been designed to address children's issues. As a result, they formed an     organized arm to effectively plan and actualize their efforts. The Rural Path was born and to date has 11 members that     include 4 females.      Areas of Focus     The organization aims at rendering expedient services to children and families in the following fields:       FAMILY EMPOWERMENT: Income generation project support           EDUCATION: Scholastic Materials -School Children's Performance Improvement -School Nutrition -Rural Resource Centers     ENVIRONMENT: Water and Sanitation
